As if I didn't have enough equipment to take around with me, I decided to take a 45mm Tilt shift lens along for the ride. I foremost wanted to show the scale of the landscape in Lesotho compared with the bikes. I think the TS lens helped do the job. Check out some more images at my Roof of Africa gallery .

Riders were woken up to rain and wind this morning which would add to the difficulty of the stage. Sauser and Knox broke at the very scenic Romanskraal farm and stayed away to the finnish to win the stage. Knox also won the king of the mountains Hot Spot. Evans and George had some mechanicals, but rode hard and made up for lost time to come in third.

Another long and hard day in the saddle for the riders saw the leaders finishing in around 5 hours. Christoph Sauser and Max Knox took the win. 124km of tough riding, there will be some finishing in the dark tonight!

A long and tough day in the saddle saw Kevin Evans and David George of Team 360LIFE take the win by 6 min. Christophe Sauser took a wrong turn and partner Max Knox had tyre issues to leave them quite far back!

Some of the best trail runners in the world gathered on the slopes of Table Mountain to run the 35km race. This included South Africa's very own Ryan Sandes, Killian Jornet of Spain and Anna Frost of New Zealand.
